Confused as to where to place the "Fall Weiss II World Map" files?

The mod should be unzipped to this location C:Drive > Users > My Profile > Documents > MY Games > SC3 World at War > Campaigns

Thanks for taking the time to adapt this for WaW, I really enjoyed playing it in WiE.

Has anyone tried this on the world map? I have another update just hard to find time to play test at this scale before I release it, I've mostly just been setting scripts early on a test version and using hotseat which is not optimal. Also starting playing WiE which is not helping!

I'm nearing the end of a game in the World Map version and noticed a couple of things. The text in the dialogue box for the Italian decision to invade Greece after forming Vichy is mostly missing in the dialogue box. Then, in an event/decision for either Sealion or Barbarossa (and the units you get later in the game related to either of those choices), I received units that were the opposite of what I had chosen.

I'm trying to not be too descriptive and not spoil it for people that haven't played it yet.

Enjoying the mod and thank you for your work!

Thanks for the feedback, I just saw the error with the Greece text and fixed it, I double checked the sealion/barbarossa event and It looks like the text matches the unit, so not sure if maybe you just misread it? I have an extended version but still haven't really played a full game yet to test it. Might just post it as BETA and hope if someone finds anything they will tell me!

jaggslither, I also fixed the Seaslion/Barbarossa unit script now. Currently doing a play-though and found the error.

Ah! Thanks for that, I was worried I had completely imagined the choices and outcomes for that event. Looking forward to your further developments with this mod.

Crispy, a couple of questions as I very much want to try your comprehensive mod.

Firstly do I need the new FW2 map to play the FW2 mod?
Following on from that, if I do need it, I see you say it is very much in Beta and hasn't been updated since April, should I therefore wait?

Hi Steve, further to my post in the other thread I would wait as I am going to post a new version soon. There is no map mod, for both Europe and World versions it is a single download. The Europe mod comes with custom counters, but should be compatible with the map mods floating around. For World map it should be ok to use counter and map mods.

Please keep in mind I have only play tested vs Allied AI so far, I am hoping for this to be more of a PBEM scenario in the long run.

Hi Crispy, just to check I have installed your two Fall Weiss mods correctly - the European Theatre mod has new sprites and units, the world map has the same units and sprites as the Vanilla game at the moment, is this correct?
If so, what is the best way for me to check that I have the FW World Map beta installed correctly and i'm not just looking at the vanilla world map game?

Thanks again for your FW mods, I've had a quick look at a couple of turns of the European Theatre mod and it is intriguing.

Correct, only Europe has custom counters. The World Map mod will have pop ups about Saudi Arabia, Portugal etc. at the end of turn 1 which will confirm.
