Hi,a couple of days ago i downloaded Desert Storm patch and today i downloaded Shifting Sands, but i got the Desert Storm instead. as i try to download Shifting sands again, the download is Desert Storm. So whats going on here, i dont need two Desert storms....

Don't be alarmed, the most recent update is always "branded" with the latest DLC release. You still get the updated engine & content nevertheless.

Ok.....but i cant play any Shifting sands scenarios and use communication disruptions.

Both downloads is Command-SetupRelease-v1.15.2

That's a different issue.

Have you registered your SS serial? (You need to re-run the installer and enter it).

Desert Storm installer refuses to rerun as i already have that game.

You have the wrong patch on the Shifting sands download, please take a look at it

Now i cannot register my Shifting Sands....."invalid serial"

Make sure you type in the serial number in manually via the keyboard and not to copy and paste the serial only you could be copying not only the serial number but the white spaces on either side of the serial number.

Regarding your other issue, just download the last patch for the base game from the member's area, and unlock the expansions.

Still invalid serial....

I hate win10 and i have a really bad day here. As i was writing, this pc crap just shut down.

I had no problem downloading and running Desert storm the other day.

Is it correct that my Shifting Sand patch should show up as Desert Storm?

Now it works, setup is running for Shifting sands......strange, is there a delay for the serial to work? confusing it is

no, but sometimes the program needs to be shut down and if your not running as admin on the pc and or steam a reboot or restart fixes an issue, than a game exit doesn't, pre cache and windows temps, got to love them or hate them but while it's there to save your data, sometimes it can spoil the day, glad your up and running now, good luck and enjoy

Yes, but i got the Chains of War up and running.....no Shifting sands.....have i ordered and downloaded the wrong game?

the game uses a way of adding serials so any can be added now or at a later date to make it work, just check the link then check the game and see if all the serials you have are installed, if ones missing, re add it.

also check your members area and see which one you have added as some if your logged in sometimes get added automatically there so see which ones you have bought and double check there already in the game etc

Thanks guys, downloaded NI and some live patches today and there was no problem at all...
