As we previously announced, today we are starting a new series of video dev diaries focussing on the gameplay of
Fantasy General II!
This first entry is about the general gameplay concept behind the game, and it is a good introduction to the principles and mechanics of the game.
Watch it here!
We hope you'll enjoy it! If you have any question please let us know on the forum. We will be back on every Wednesday with a new video!

Shame not using Field of Glory 2 engine here. Not keen on the Civ x4 type of combat. To restrictive and abstract for me.
Now fantasy units in a proper War game engine, yes please.

Very different kinds of games - given this is a sequel to the original (and much beloved) Fantasy General it would be a tough sell to change the basic genre [:)].
That said, a fantasy game at the same kind of scale etc as Fog is an idea we have been kicking around for ages. The key issue is that they tend to require a lot of artwork, and that artwork tends to be much more complex (e.g. dragons etc). But we hear you!
Cheers
Pip
