Upgrading to 1.16

I tried to log in to the PBEM Server but was notified I didn't have the latest version 1.16.

I am currently on 1.15.02.

However, when I check for updates, it tells me I already have the latest version.

Updated and now all my single player saves say "file read error."

Are you trying to upgrade War in Europe or World at War? The latest patch is only for War in Europe.

well, it all works again.

With nothing changed.

I suspect some developer was doing back end work on the server and then put it all right again,
