The #COUNTRY_ID= 19 in the localization.txt but the returned sprite from unit_nato_flag_sprites.png is from the 22 'slot'. The wrong sprite is shown for morale and resources, too. These were working correctly in WaW, as do all the other settings after converting from WaW to WiE 1.16. Does anyone have any ideas because I have wracked my brain.

If these are Majors, then what I would suggest is from within the Editor, open your campaign and then navigate to Campaign->Edit Major Country IDs Data and then picking the applicable major in the Major Country IDs column, and then selecting the appropriate display source folder from the 'Set Display Source' drop down list.

Thanks Hubert. Unfortunately, that doesn't fix it - the majors all appear correctly in the Major Country ID dialog and they all appear correctly on the map except for the sprites for the commanders and the resource and morale flags. It's like those ones are picking up set country IDs.

For example, there are 5 Allies and 5 Axis countries (they're not called Axis but that's not important). The first Axis country is ID 115 (which is normally USA but not in this campaign) but the sprites show 45 (which is normally Germany, the first Axis country). Two country IDs are correct - 112 (UK) and 40 (France) - but the rest and the minors are all over the shop.

As I said, they appear correctly in WaW, which is why I am confused given 1.16 picks up a lot of its features.

Thanks for the extra info and I can't really say for sure without seeing the campaign first hand... otherwise it just sounds like the import/export feature moving from one game to another won't work and you'll have to continue playing it under WaW for now. Hopefully that is ok?
