Each turn is 2 weeks time. The editor allows for any time scale from 1 day to 1 year if you wish.

Thanks for the quick response. So the game has a similar map scale and time scale to Strategic Command. How would you differentiate your game from SC?

Read the description in the product link and you will get an idea of what is different. I am not trying to replace an excellent game like Strategic Command series. WarPlan is in a niche I found that appeals to wargamers. Each game plays difference. If I didn't see this niche I would have never made the game because then it would just be a copy.

If I would change the turn time to 1 week, what else would I need to change to balance things out, research, production...? I would like to play realy long GC if possible. Would it be even possible to scale the game to 1 week without breaking the whole scenario, events and similar? Thanks in advance for your help.

I really can't tell you since I didn't plan for that type of game. I'd be guessing as much as you are.
