I played the demo- suggestions

I recently downloaded the demo and I have not played the full game.
This game had great potential. But:
The full game needs to have multiple maps. Plus, the ability to add maps through scenario editor or else allow modders to make them. And download and installation must be easy.
The full game needs to have a campaign where the result on one map affects an upcoming battle on the next map.
When you zoom out to view the whole map. The counters need to shrink in scale with the map.

Joe,
just to set your mind at rest, the previous incarnation of AA (Red Devils Over Arnhem, formerly available from Battlefront) already had:
- multiple maps
- an easy-to-use map maker utility
- a scenario editor
- at least one expansion pack containing a map of Juno Beach in Normandy and a fictional beach assault and airborne drop scenario
- an incredibly easy download and installation process
- great stability (you could even alt-tab back and forth and run other stuff in the background without any problems)
the Juno Beach expansion pack will be available for download, probably before AA:HTTR even comes out. Check out
The Drop Zone for more information and resources for the original game (and of course news about AA:HTTR when it comes out).

Good suggestion.
I think there was some discussions in the past about graphic scaling.
Counters shrinking will help preventing clutter of the map when it is zoom out. On the other hand, the counters carry a lot of info and the zoom levels are large. So, if you shrink a normaly sized counter at greater zoom level, you'll end up with one pixel when the map is completely zoomed out.
Not that I would mind smaller counters (as an option) with full zoom out, though.
My 2 cents,
JeF.

The purpose of zooming out is to get a birds eye view of the map.
If the counters do not shrink then zooming out is of no use.

Thanks for your suggestions Joe 98.
I would like to add though, that getting a birds eye view of the map is not the only reason you zoom out. Often I find it useful to zoom out to see all my forces. In particular, to check out their status. If the unit icons are shrunk, then you won't be able to do this. Perhaps the answer is to have it as an option. I'll add it to our loo...ong wish list.

You can toggle the display of units on and off using the View tab as well - so if you zoom out, you can hide the unit counters and look at the map to your heart's content. You will still be able to see the positions of friendly and enemy forces on the small-scale command map at the top left as well.
Cheers
