I've tried everything. Installing/reinstalling everything from the guide of Steam.

Disabled movies, checked in windows features, but all things needed are checked.

I've done all of that, the WMP, IE, installing the frameworks and what have you. I made an account because I am at a loss. I've googled fixes from 9 in the evening until 2 at midnight.

I can't find the issue.

Hmmm, for some reason, after a restart, my WMP was uninstalled. (Restart after doing basically all steps available) now it runs. Strange. Tiredness might've played a role.
