First time playing this great game. Playing as the axis, just after SU surrender the event where the Allies also surrender is triggerd (= major victory). But when I choose YES, nothing happens. The war continue exactly as before. In the same turn the allies launch D-day and get troops closer than six hexes from Paris. Is this the answer perhaps?

That is probably it. You could destroy the invasion and see if the surrender triggers. If not, go for world domination.

We will be including a mention of this in the next patch, as I can understand why you'd expect the game to end instantly.
