I know there has been discussion about Submarines being trapped at the Map Edge.
Looks like the same can be said about Straits.

Situation: Submarine was attacked, twice via a Carrier, just east of Legaspi, and retreated.
As shown on the map, it is unable to move outside the Philippines area.
