WWIII Europe

Been working on this scenario for years slowly revising OOB as new or updated information is found. I have not been able to discern with any accuracy what US Army Corps would be activated for deployment in Europe to match up with the ready NG Divisions?

AFAIK, the corps planned to deploy to Europe (1980s) were III and XVIII Airborne, both active. My understanding is that the NG divisions would join active corps, including the V and VII in Germany.

Looking at the history of some of the corps, it looks like a bunch were activated for the Vietnam War and then inactivated between 1968 and 1970.
Going on past Army practice, were they to activate an inactive corps from the Army Reserve, they would probably activate the senior inactive corps first.
The two senior inactive corps are II (most senior, inactivated in NY state) and IV (inactivated in Alabama).
