I thought I took a pic of an Elephant when I was at Aberdeen, but I think I mislabeled the photo as this certainly looks like a Nashorn to me [:(]

Because as you can see in the above photo, they are put on display out in a field. They mention in the video that they can't have any fluids in them when put on display, so no sense spending time and money to get them running.

It certainly is a fun place to stroll around. Imagine coming over a rise and seeing this little group! [left to right, a IV 'Duck', JgPanther, JgTiger, and I think a StuG]

Yup, looks like a Nashorn indeed, with the tell tale MkIV chassis for instance [:)]

Only thing a Stuart has going for it in that scenario is her wheels. Though many moons ago I did have a Stuart disable a Panther in Close Combat. Side shot

Those were some brave tankers...though I guess you could get off 3-4 rounds before the cat fired back. And you are a small target. OK - I am reaching.

They showed the present day M109 Howitzer (indirect fire). Why not load it up with armor piercing shells, Produce 10,000 and make it a direct fire tank killer.

Too low a velocity and not as accurate as a gun. Also, it does not have that flat of a trajectory.

Technically there were no Elefants at Kursk.
