PBEM++ times out?

Hi,
This evening (06 Aug 19 from 0800 Zulu to 1000 Zulu inclusive) the game won't connect to the PBEM server. And still won't.
I am on the steam version,

yes it's been confirmed, there is a server issue and there aware of and trying to fix it asap
