This game looks great. What confuses me with the latest batch of turn based WWII games... Why two player only? Would love to play this with a few friends. Command 3 was the same way.

You can play multiplayer. Save your turn send it to your friend to do his.

That's great! What's the maximum amount of players? On Matrix games it lists a maximum of 2 in multiplayer.

You have two sides in the server games. But multiple people can have access to each account.

For example in WITE you have Axis and Soviet sides but they have games with 4 player teams on each side. Only one player can be logged in at once. So as each player does his part for the team, he saves and logs out. Then the next player can do his part and so on. Each player can control whatever is agreed to by the team. So the Allied team might have a UK/Brit player and a French/USSR player for example.

That may work, sounds good. Will be interested when it's done.

Very glad to hear this! I thought that only two players were possible.

Just do your turn, save it, email it. So if you are Russia just do Russia.

... LOL come on, not true ...

that is when you tell someone, yes this Meal is for 4 people ...
after the first one has eaten out from the bowl ,
move the bowl to the next one and give him your spoon ...

that isn't what I understand how MP for more people should be,
but how most Matrix/Slith games are designed !

The first game, which starts now to have proper MP for turn based games ,
has been just released "Age of Wonder: Planetfall",
sad is that it is a dumbed down linear strategy game,
but by far the best roundbased MP technical solution I have ever seen ...
it is near perfect , when you play that asynchron variation.

Hope to see in the future all Slith/Matrix that way
PLEASE COPY THAT even it still has it's flaws !

Anyhow, as I said before the Russians and the Allies need to have independent victory conditions.

It is plausible, that as Germany collapses;
-the Russians take another objective which means that the Russians achieve a Decisive Victory whereas the Allies achieve only a Marginal Victory or;
-the Germans hold on the Eastern Front but the West collapses so the Germans have a Decisive Defeat, the Russians have a Marginal Defeat and the Allies have a Decisive Victory!
.

The game's victory conditions run like this.

Each country has their own VPs the more objectives they control and hold.
Each side can win or lose the game.

Like Italy can achieve an operational victory but still lose the game if both axis countries get conquered.

The Allies can win the game but Russian wins operationally.

I based the objectives on a historical timeline.

Mmmh I think I follow this. Maybe a snapshot of the VP screen/menu during the game or at game end would help illustrate this?
