It is pretty easy for the axis player to take Poland on turn 1. I think it is wrong historically and froma a game balance perspective that in this case the event with the partition doesnt fire.

Hi

I've fixed it for the coming patch so that if this happens then the relevant scripts can still fire for the partition.

Wasn't this only against the AI while playing on a lower difficulty level than intermediate...

It is possible on intermediate and others have said in MP as well (since the opponent never gets a move)

The only thing to be fixed IMO is the script thingy. Poland being defeatable on turn one in WaW is not a big deal in itself IMO as the scale of the game is so small. In WiE on the other hand, with it's bigger scale, Poland should not be defeatable on the first turn without the opponent being able to move at least once.

The Poland campaign ended on 6 October with Germany and the Soviet Union dividing and annexing the whole of Poland under the terms of the German–Soviet Frontier Treaty.

Germany should not be allowed to crush Poland in 1 turn and then smash France early as well, resulting from the impact of an early Polish fall. All the minors appear to be understrength, Poland, Spain and Turkey all fall to major powers to easily.
