I know you are the front man for the game; not sure if there is financial gain or not for all of your hard work.

Not knowing anything about how Matrix works, I would try to address the concerns that have come up (as you are) and then put together some really cool scenarios that look less intimidating and sell a DLC. People complain because there is no campaign. But maybe a string of scenarios that are more playable that simulate a campaign of sorts.

Like another poster said, I am overwhelmed with complex games, and many I have yet to dig into, including yours. However, I look forward to the experience and know I can mess with some stuff in the editor, which for me makes the game.

Whatever you decide to do, I think you are the most up-front "front man" I've seen on these forums. There are a number of games, even here on Matrix, that the designers just released and dumped. Almost no communication whatsoever. So I would buy your DLC on that basis alone.

I would like to re-fit Desert War 1940-42 with the Stalingrad campaign engine. We could then create/add smaller connected scenarios...and maybe touch a bit more on Tunisia and the Americans.

I hear that. I've purchased a bookcase full of new boardgames over the past year...and played two...for only a couple turns. Everything has gotten so complicated.

Stalingrad has alot of nice additions to the scenario editor...and a new campaign editor for linking scenarios together. More toys to play with.

Thank-you for your support. We want to live up to your expectations.

Not sure of the provenance of this film but I would place its filming just prior to the fall of Tobruk in 1942. What do you think?

1942: 21 anti-tank guns against 100 tanks - who won?

I like to listen to YouTube videos while working on game graphics or filling out an order of battle .csv file. Every once in a while a very good story pops into the cue; this is one of them--Second Alamein: The Defense of Outpost Snipe.
