Hi,

Having trouble getting the beta file 11.26a. Matrix has redone their website (looks great) but when I go to the product page to get the beta file it asks for a login and product SN. Am happy to do that, but I cannot login with my forum ID, and perhaps my forum ID can't be used for that. Attempted to create a new login, and no joy there. Is there another way to get the beta file? I have the 11.26b file, but I'm not sure if all the 11.26a updates are within the 11.26b file. Thanks in advance. Scott

Do you have the 1124 update? If so, install it and then the 1126b will work fine.

And yes, 1126b contains everything in 1126a (and more, of course).

But, you have to install either 1124 or 1126a to get the cumulative database updates.

I do have 1124.

1126b has everything from 1126a? That would be great and expected, though the last page of one of the top threads in Tech Support makes me wonder. The thread title is:

The 1124 and 1126a are cumulative patches. They have all of the first 6 or 7 patches in them. 1126b is only an .exe patch, it does not have any of the database updates in it.
But, 1126b does have all of the .exe updates in 1126a and some more.

The original post says the jcax101 was looking for the Beta on the Matrix download site. It is not there. It was an active beta under continuous updating based on input from players, so the Beta was kept on this game Forum - at the top of the Tech Section.

So if you patched up to 11.24 or 11.26a, just go to the tech section and download the 11.26B. Be aware that when you install it will create a new directory called Beta 2. That may affect your shortcuts and switches.
