Enemy Starts Battle in No Mans Land

Hi,
I read through the forum and couldn't see any earlier reference to this 'issue'. I've been playing the Normandy campaign (only for a few hours). Ever since the first battle at Omaha, the enemy frequently start following battles located in areas indicated as "no man's land" (i.e. in the lightly shaded areas), rather than in the dark shaded areas of the map. Is this intentional? It's quite annoying. Is this a consequence of choosing to continue the attack immediately (which I don't think I did on every occasion)?

Also, in previous versions of CC, you could select a setting than enabled you to see the disposition of the enemy forces prior to a battle (i.e. do they have any tanks or guns). This option seems to have been eliminated. Is that correct?
Cheers

This is an issue specifically with the Omaha Beach battle in Operation or Campaign games. It's on the list of things to address.

Thanks very much. And for the second question regarding the ability to see the disposition of enemy troops pre-battle? I take it that is a game design decision?
