I have noticed no allies units appearing when the message says at the start of the turn you have reinforcements. Axis units appear to outnumber allies about a third of the way into the game. Has other players noticed this?

Did you do "view"-->"expected reinforcements" from the drop down menus?
That should show who is supposed to be put on the map.

From the screen shots you sent, it looks like there is not an available hex for them to appear, due to the enemy occupation. Not sure how far afield they might appear later or if at all ... they might have been cancelled, not sure.

It is talked about in the manual section about reinforcements and withdrawals.
