Grenades and damage

I'm loving watching a pixeltrooper run out and throw a grenade at a Tank etc..however not loving how useless they seem. I had men throw three grenades at an enemy inf unit..not 1 casualty even though they landed close..where is the blast radius? Same with HE shells..just no blast radius damage at all. We need shock or concussion as a soldier health state..something that temporarily puts him out of action.

There is a soldier state 'Stunned' and it is in the game. It is caused by explosions and being hit, especially in melee combat.

The blast radius is modeled based on the amount of explosive charge in the grenade historically. The US Mk II 'pineapple' grenades have a very small busting charge and they rely primarily on fragments to cause injury. German stick grenades and US offensive grenades (used by assault teams) have a larger charge and will give you a bigger explosion effect too.
