Cannot start WITE (and WITW) by steam

When I click "play" button, a white screen will appear then back to the start menu without any warning. Could someone help me? Thank you![&o][&o][&o]

Did you try the WiTE shortcut?. Rather than play through steam.

Yes I tried but failed. It will start the steam automatically since it was downloaded from steam.

You can start steam in offline mode, if its still a bust, at least its not a steam issue.

Is your Windows in Japanese or Chinese?
