Air Units

From the manual:
An air unit may fly a mission,
support, escort, or intercept twice a turn including the enemy’s turn.
For air units to operate defensively in my opponents turn, do they need to have not been used offensively in my turn?
That's is do they need unused operation points? Or can I use them fully in my turn an they will still operate defensively in my opponents turn.
I am unclear on this.

Ok. So I need to keep them unused in my own turn, or at least with 1 op point remaining.
Thanks.

This really needs more detailed explanation.
If Axis player bombs the enemy and Allied fighters intercept, will it result in no action points for the Allied fighters participating in those battles during Allied player phase?

Actually, looking at Alvaro's answer again I think he may mean they get a new set of op points in the enemy turn.
So yeah. I am still hazy on this. I guess in a few hours we can test it ourselves.

This was addressed to Michael as a teasing from my side. But thanks for the answer anyway.
