Every time I start the game, the configuration screen appears. Is there any way to skip this?

Same for me. Changes should be able to be made via option screen once this screen is selected to avoid need to click it each time.
Would also like to be able to skip the intro video that plays after it.
Both are just useless mouse clicks.

I will see what I can do. This method avoids a lot of graphic problems.

Can you store the settings in an ini file and read it on start. Add a reset on the options screen to clear/delete the file so the popup reappears to force the choice again.
My assumption is most players will be using the same setup each time so eliminating extra clicks is a big bonus.
