We need a War Room sub-forum, I think.

My opponent found a good ASW technique, using the naval intercept feature: send out surface ships, eg DDs, to within the sub intercept range.

1) in Warplan, surface ships can't directly attack subs except along coasts - that's left up to escorts;

2) carriers can attack subs

3) now, using the intercept feature, there's a third way to duke it out with subs when at sea.

I tried this too and it ended in whole DD group being sunk

I wondered how that battle occurred.

If you have your SS set on raider mode it won't intercept which I recommend when raiding convoys. Neat trick.

I'm sure they were on raider mode. I remember distinctly putting them there.

I just tested it, and it works as you said. I guess I was mistaken.

I am 35% through my bug list. Glad not another was added lol.
