Just had a computer crash during a PBEM game - I was doing moving a land unit by sea.
Windows gave 'nvlddnkm.sys' or something like that as the cause.
Was able to reload the move and continue without it repeating once the PC had rebooted (windows 10).

I had the game crash just now playing the Axis in 1939 scenario via PBEM. I was trying out the message tool. I entered the message and then "X"'d out---then the game crashed to desk top. I have the crash.dmp and error.log files but can't upload the here.

that's going to be problem if it's occurring too often on server games.

I re-loaded WarPlan. It showed that it was still my turn for the 1942 PBEM. I launched my turn again (having "ended it") and the situation displayed was the same as it was at the beginning of the turn.

For your info, tycronec and I are the players in the same PBEM experiencing the crashes. I'm also playing Michael T in a separate PBEM but have not experienced any issues.

Hmmm. I have never had a crash and I don't remember the Beta testers having one. I will consult with Matrix on this.

You have Win10 right?

Spoke too soon. Played my turn versus Michael T and hit End Turn. Got a pop-up saying it was calculating end-turn or some such then the game locked-up. I did not get a crash notice this time. The game is "still on" but there are no tools on the toolbar and the program will not respond to "X"ing out of the game.

Ctrl-Alt-Deleted to close the game. Re-launched program, re-loaded turn, turn is back to start...no moves/actions recorded.

Switched to my Windows 10 Pro computer and was able to complete my turns without issue. Matrix webpage states the requirements for WarPlan as follows:

"OS Windows 7 SP1+Windows 7 SP1, Windows 8.1, Windows 10"

So...dunno what the issue is.
