I can't figure out why this attack is only 2:1, any thoughts? The Italians have two corps and the French only one division? One of the Italian units is in good supply and good order (full strength, etc...). Is it because there is no HQ?

1. Look at the terrain.
2. Look at your effectiveness (51% for the XIII Corps, what is the % for the other Corps?)
3. Take in the French effectiveness.

I kinda like how SC does it by giving expected results which will probably, but not necessarily, happen. More useful abnd meaningful than referring to an invisible odds table.

The unit values are estimates.

The unit can be a 2.4 and the terrain reduces another 20% maybe 25%. It's probably a 2.7:1

I suggest a more verbose report window, before of after the combat.
I think many of us would appreciate that feature.

This already exists in the combat logs, it shows you what your looking for.

Do you refer to the report below? I have bare Infos about losses sustained by side A and side B.
I would appreciate a more analytical report (factors and efficiency of forces involved, combat ratios, terrain modifiers, etc.)

I think they mean the combat log. The square button at the top of the screen with binoculars. It still may not be as detailed as you want but it is more detailed than the battle button (Hexagon explosion button).
