There was a thread (I can't seem to find it now) about one of the 39 scenario starting German Tac Bombers being a 'fighter bomber' type
rather than a 'close support' type. The problem was of course Tac bombers are not fighter bombers.

So I see now in new 39 (ver 1.02.01) games all 4 German Tac's are close support.

My query is about my ongoing game. I still have this single Tac bomber of 'fighter bomber' type.

So what will happen with this unit in regard to tech advances? Will it progress with 'fighter bomber' advances?
Will it not advance at all?

Will it cause a crash at some point?
Maybe I should just disband it? I would but since it's now my most experienced air unit I am reluctant to do that.

Don't worry, I will disband this unit as soon as France falls. Having a Tac bomber advancing along the fighter bomber line is pretty poor compared to a close support tech Tac.

It won't cause issues.
