I decided to split up the Command Team from two of the Ad-Hoc infantry teams. This turned out to be a mistake. Once the battle started, they began to disintegrate from concentrated fire.

Action began almost immediately as American Paratroopers are caught in the open!

US para's advance to tree line and engage in direct fire against Ad-hoc in buildings.. MG34 helps out!

and then it began to rain!

Ad-Hoc teams begin to panic and separate as they run towards the American line!

One Ad-hoc member gets past the tree line!

I am able to get control of the other Ad-hoc team and decide to withdraw..... off the map!

Almost out of ammo, MG34 begins their withdrawal!

MG34's withdrawal was disrupted by an advancing US team(s). I tried getting them to a safe position but they began to take casualties.. The game suddenly ends!

NOTE: Although I had regained control of the previously panicked Ad-hoc team, they would only follow the move-fast order for short distances. They would ignore the order for a long distance path.
