What does Germany get from conquering a country?

I think it get any strategic resources found inside the country..is this correct?

also is an example of a strategic resource the coal that is 2 hexes south of Madrid? If this is true, the is it reasonable to say that Spain has 3 strategic resources? and that capturing those 3 increases German production by 1% each?

I do not know if there are decimals. (ie, a 5 worth city nets 1, or 1.66)

I think it is too low making conquest pratically a matter of more beaches to man for little return (and a drain on logistic points that are not expanded).
