Hello all.
In terms of complexity and depth, how does the game compare to GG`s War in the West/East games?
Is it easier to learn?

It is much less complex, you can probably manage to play some sort of a game by just starting a game or watching a few videos.
Turns take a fraction of the time of WITE/W.

Many thanks, sir.
Though I enjoyed war in the west I really struggled to get to grips with the naval and air aspects of the game.

In some ways I like the original dos version of GG War in Russia better than the newer one. I'm also big fan of Hearts of 3 due to its complexity. Warplan is much easier to play and is a good game with more updates coming.

It's not really comparable because the scope is more strategic/operational. It's a big picture game, and you have to deal with economics and diplomacy along with the military aspect.

While simpler mechanically than the Grigsby games, there is a lot to think about in the big picture.

Different kind of game - as depicted just above.

Main differences are in the fact this game is -playable- in a good timeframe, and is not about excess at mental wacking level of micromanagement, that keeps it to the -gaming- level and not replaces a 5 years course of study for an university bachelor.

Many thanks chaps.
After playing a few experimental turns I feel a lot more confident than I did with GG/WITW.
Looking forward to learning more about the game mechanics and features.
