The rail in Anatolia is crossing through lake and is impassable.

Also the mighty Turkish army is so under strength(all corps just 6) that this is another no brainer for Axis to invade.

I see it via the lake. Oops. Turkey is getting a boost. I was looking at them today after a different post. The unit strengths are off from their historical forces

There was a great recent article (2018 or 2019) on the German contingency plan to attack Turkey in the WW2 version of Strategy & Tactics magazine. Nice map of WW2 era Turkey, OOB, etc. Good information on the state of the Turkish Army in WW2. I don't have a copy to share or scan (I read it in the bookstore), but I thought you might be interested and perhaps find a copy on your own.

I will take a look. There isn't much information on it.

in the next patch there is an improvement in Turkey to make it harder. I might be able to squeeze in the 2nd upgrade this patch. Tough to balance hindsight with history to make it work right.
