[RESOLVED] Crashing on Menu

Hi
Bought CMO from Matrix. When i get to menu it crashes in 4-10 seconds every time. So i cant get to game only to menu. I have CMANO+Chains of war (from Matrix too) wich i have uninstalled earlier. Is it possible that some parts of cmano werent deleted right and there is some kind of conflict there wich is causing crashes?
Nvidia driver is updated to 441.20. Computer specs are Ryzen 7 2700X, 1070 Gtx and 16gb memory.
Would be grateful for any ideas?
Thank you

good luck, and also remember to reboot the pc after the uninstall, so nothing is left in memory to / cache to effect the reinstall, i'd also make sure the folders have been deleted also just to be sure

Hello,
When you say it crashes, you mean the main window just disappears without showing anything, or is there any error message displayed? Thanks.

Hi
It launches to menu. Then crashes and window just disappears without showing anything. No error messages or anything.

have you tried running the prerequisites again?
or checked your AV logs to see if it's blocked anything from running?
maybe would be a good idea to also upload a report now as well to maybe look a bit deeper, thanks
information on how to is in my first post link

can you disable MSI Afterburner's tools / programs on startup and then reboot and recheck to see if it works without that program running?
thanks

Uninstalled MSI Afterburner. Problem continued after that. Uninstalled Visual C++ 2015-2019 and then run repair on Visual C++ 2015 and now i am in the game. I think there was some kind of problem.
I am playing the game now (10 minutes and no crash) and will report if crashing continues. Hopefully that was it. Very much thank you both Zakblood and Dimitris.

MSI Afterburner is a known problem with many games, and as it was mentioned in your report in every crash, running without it, should now hopefully fix the issue for good, unless something else is also in the mix on startup that the game doesn't like to run with, it happens, and glad your finally sorted, fingers crossed it carries on the same

Out of curiosity, where in that log is MSI's crapware listed?

not in the log,.
in the windows error report at the bottom on the page,
---------------
Diagnostics
---------------
below, gives the causes of the error with a number, gets overwritten, but always show a given amount of the last so many faults and issues, then i just google the code number and see what caused the error
