Around the 52-minute mark or so, Cap'n D admits there's a Flashpoint Campaigns MidEast expansion coming!

To be very clear, what was said is we would like to get back to this area. Safe to say that would be a 2022 project, at best, with our current timelines and roadmap. We have other things we want to do as well. But yes, we would like to get back there at some point.
Always more we want to do than time in a day. This will be an area where we will be looking for interested players who want to contribute to our efforts and help speed up things like that. [8D]

I hazard a guess middle East wasn't seen popular enough by Slitherine so did WW3 Europe again.
I imagine if the next game sells well a risk maybe taken then with a ME game setting
