I'm having an issue right now where the placenames won't show up.

Procedure:
1) Loading the tutorial "Tutorial #1 - Bombing Range"
2) Turn off Placenames via the "View" menu
3) Turn on Placenames via the "View" menu

Noticed a similar issue with the legacy city and country names not showing. Since I am not a big fan of the new place names and their scaling, I prefer to use the old city and country names display in the options settings. Is anyone else having this issue?
