Anybody tried attacking Russia after Poland instead of going West with the Axis ??

Pretty sure Germany lacks the strength to do and ontop of that France will build more and more up with full production.
Germany with just 2 panzers won't go far in Russia.

Thanks all the videos go west 1st and i did also. Just thought i'd ask maybe i might try and see the outcome.

The only way it could work is in the 'Totaler Krieg' type of game.
Where IF France is not conquered, Soviets will settle for a peace if some objective falls (usually Minsk and Kiev and a 3rd City of worth a Victory point in that game), and the Russians are then 'pacified' for a while. (2 years pratically since their surrender. That gives the time to Axis to have a go at France and maybe a delayed Sealion); and Germany gains Ukraine and Belarus as territory (or more depending on the cities they take, if they get to Rostov like they get the Donbass, etc).

But as it is now, to just up straight away to 100% Soviet production, trigger their reserves, whilst France produces all out, and Italy sits merrily out of the war does not work.
