Is Norway worth it as Germany

Assuming 39 scenario, is Norway provide any real benefit to invade?
It's easy enough to take, but what do I get out of it besides shortening the trade route?
Question... How much production etc. does Norway provide? I don't see a strategic resource hex.

The Baltic freezes over during the winter. The AXIS has to control Narvik in order to get production from Norway in those months, with convoys down the coast of Norway. Look on the map of Sweden to see how much iron is available to ship.

Just to clarify regarding how much production you get out of Norway.
I don't see a strategic symbol in Norwegian territory and there only seems to be production in the Oslo with a value 1 per turn after conquering.
Sweden to German has it's own convoy route, does the Swedish route go thru Norway (Oslo)once winter sets in?

Toggle the trade in winter and you will see it's path. It does go via the Narvik Route
