DMP Mod for WitP-AE

The Design Mod Project group is a team of German modders who've created german-language mods for a large number of games. And in this case not just a language conversion, but a complete re-do of almost all the standard WitP-AE art. While some of their choices seem a bit odd (the "brown water" being the most obvious - see #1 on the attachment), there is still a "period charm" to much of the interface (#2) that would be a welcome addition to other mods.

The mod comes packed in an executable, and consequently is a TOTAL CONVERSION, meaning that it will overwrite your existing WitP-AE install. Accordingly, I highly recommend that you make a copy of your WitP-AE game folder and install DMP on top of the copy. Or, if you just want to peruse the new art outside the context of the game (several examples make up the rest of the attachment), install the whole thing into an empty folder.

I stumbled upon this while researching ship art, as it's not in the Scenarios Available for WitP AE list, and rarely comes up in conversation. Still, these guys did a HUGE amount of work, and their mod deserves to be highlighted here on the world's primary WitP-AE forum.

Does anyone have a link for this mod? DMP's website is down unfortunately...

I have not been able to locate any alternative download links for this mod.

The German language Gamer forums with AE sections I know about are as good as dead or even gone, I'm afraid it is unlikely to find someone who can provide links or files for this mod.

Does someone know the name of the file and the file type? A person could search using that.

I have a good memory for some things and for this game, I want to be most efficient. The problem is, as Japanese I just move too slow for cavalry . . .

I play to ask might be here since Panzer Korps and other games are listed in German.

It just so happens that I re-installed WiTP AE on my new system yesterday and was trying to find this very mod and saw that the DMP site was gone for good. However as the wife is now using my old system I remembered that I kept the DMP mod in a folder for safe keeping so was able to transfer it across to the new system via an external SSD and voila am now able to take out the bits that I use for the new install. If someone can give me a heads up on how to upload a file I'll put it on this post for other people to use.

Either click on the file that you want to add to your post and drag the file to the post or use the "attachments" below where you write your post, click on "add files" and then you would look in your computer to select the file to add, then select the file to add to your post. Just like you would with pictures.

The file is huge, there is a maximum filesize per attachment of 10 Mb.

It will have to be an external link, like wetransfer, etc.
