Multiplayer

Help please. Trying to start a PBEM. Go onto Warplan, choose Multiplayer but cant log in either as me or set up a new login. What am I doing wrong?????????????

I go into login Multiplayer & enter the username & password to login here & it says Login Incorrect

Try this....

Under
C:\Users\"your user name"\Documents\My Games\WarPlan\

playerData.dat rename to playerDataOLD.dat

restart game.

Try and login.

Otherwise contact Matrix it might be a login error issue with your name and password.

Keep trying … I got exactly the same error …. exited and came back in and eventually worked …. not sure why, but saves the login info go forward and no further issues

Totally stumped. Ive checked that my Slitherine & Matrix Accounts are all merged. Ive updated my password. Ive tried the playerDataOLD.dat route.

I have rebooted but when I go in to try to start a new Multiplayer game (for the first time - updated to latest patch) I Login to Multiplayer and enter my Login & Password details which I know are correct because Im here adding this post, but no it says Login Incorrect.

All I want to do is play this game by email!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I just checked my login and it works.

Did you guys contact Matrix?

What I will do is add a toggle to the next patch to give data on the login procedure for me to look at. I can't do anything about it from the Matrix end but at least you would get an error #. I know only the common ones for the login.

Contact Matrix support to reset the login or do something with it.

I did, thanks. Ive contacted Matrix help desk twice and twice they have simply changed my password. There clearly not reading what Im saying. Its very frustrating.

Try running the game as admin.
Turn off whatever anti-v or firewall software you have.
Worst case you can send me your login and I will look at the external code and tell you whats going on. If I can login then the problem is 100% on your end.
