Brit Bombers Not flying strategic missions

1939 … Poland just fell …. Brit bombers on strategic bombing won't bomb western german targets … won't even give me the option ….. What's the magic pixi dust I ain't figured out ?

Usually weather - could be at origin or destination.

Double rain drops mean no flying as well as blizzard I believe. That happens a lot in winter months in the ocean and Germany.

Nope, is late Sept 39 and don't see any weather … almost anywhere on the map … did notice that the 4th Bmr Grp set to strategic bombing will do so … the 3rd Bmr Grp set to Strategic bombing when examined in further detail still list close support and will not target ground units nor strategic targets …...

That group is tactical bomber not strategic so range is your problem only has a range of 10.

That group is tactical bomber not strategic so range is your problem only has a range of 10.
That is correct … my bad …. might be a good idea to blank out roles that select aircraft can not perform …. avoids confusioin ...

Tactical Bombers can bomb strategic just don't have long legs. I use them to bomb the resource site in Germany. It is with in range if you move the bomber above and to the right of London on the coast.

Will need to check again because I believe it had legs to Toulouse …… will check
