In Sbiba Counterattack as the Americans I gave my Platoon HQ the rifle grenades which did not show up in his load out once the battle began.

They have the grenade launcher (as you can see on the Force Select screen and by looking at the 'extra weapon' icon on the bottom right of the battle screen) but the soldier carrying it has chosen to use his M1 Garand as his default anti-personnel weapon.

If the command team has a target to fire at the soldier with the grenade launcher will switch to that weapon if it's a good weapon against the target.
