So, can any players tell me how the AI is in any of the scenarios ? with the updated game ?

Looking a purchase but have no one to play against most times...So, AI is a big deal.

Evaluating the AI of Desert War is a subjective matter for each individual player. The AI will generally act in an historical manner. If you wish to spar in that environment you will find it acceptable and satisfying. If you push all the boundaries and game the system, you will soon be happy when you've found a counter-factual path to victory.

Well, thanks for the reply but wanted someone that is not part of the game-Dev or matrix.

See Matrix has kind of lost my confidence as of late. Been publishing games that are BUGGY and never get patched or updated and are just dropped/abandoned after a few months.

So I would like a PLAYERS point of View...

64 year old vet with no connections to Matrix or developer. Only play AI solo and have found game very challenging - I always have same concern you voice and have many times been disappointed. No so here.

AND - great manual, great developer with steady, long time after release presence on forums. Loves his craft is obvious, and I am much appreciative and await his next release. This is a keeper for solo play.

Yes, play the tutorial as the Allies until you win it. Also check out the Desert War Quick-Start Guide. You can find it in the Manuals folder of the game directory.
