Hi,

I played SCWW1 and it was fine. I installed the Blue Max mode, and that was better !
But I had an update and now I have nothing. The game don't start. I'm a steam user. I uninstalled and installed again unsuccessfully...

try and run the game and steam as admin

if that doesn't work, reboot,

and retry

did you use the latest version for the mod?

as the old version won't or may not work either with the update

I delete all the files. I don't install any mod. I run in admin, I run in admin directly in the gamefiles and always nothing... I looked the directx files, everything is fair. I've only a steam key, I can't test in a classic installation.

when steam launched the game, did it setup all the prerequisites as required, as no matter how many you already have, the game on loading with still load more on the first install, without the game won't load

if still that doesn't work, try this one, but you will need your steam password and user name before you begin

can you give any logs etc or reports?

How to get a DirectX Diagnostic file:

1. click on "START"
2. click "run"
3. type in "dxdiag" and click "OK"
4. check through the tabs and perform all tests
5. click "Save all Information..." and save the text file to a location of your choice

We prefer that DxDiag files be posted as message attachments rather than pasted into the body of the post.

once the report has been made, just attach it to your post as it's a Txt file which is then permitted to attach to the forum.

To obtain the MSInfo file:
1. Press Windows Key + R.
2. Type MSInfo32 and press Enter.
3. In the MSInfo diagnostic window, click File, then Export.
4. When the Export As window appears, choose Desktop.
5. Name the file "MSInfo" and click Save.

The Logs will be saved to a new folder here that will be called DEBUGLOGS followed by the campaign's name:

C:\Users\[USER NAME]\Documents\My Games\Strategic Command WWI\

New update today and the game starts.
All is good.
