If Axis trigger Vichy France:

1. What happens to British units in Vichy ?

2. What happens to Axis units in French N. Africa ? As I understand it they are thrown out, so if for example Italy conquers Tunisia and just a few hexes of Algeria, do they keep Tunisia and have the units in Algeria expelled or does Tunisia go over to Vichy ?

There is a teleport range to the closest friendly hex. If not they get destroyed. The range is pretty lenient. But if an Axis unit is in West North Africa 50 hexes away from Germany on the other side of the Med yea they will die. British units in Vichy should die because they literally have no where to go. This is done to prevent exploitation.

As any side you should be aware of where and how your units will escape. There is no acting foolish then crying foul when the Nazi's say "papers please" and you get shot in the head for not having them. Well you would get shot in the head anyways but you know what I mean.

So what if Axis take one of the N. African countries - can they get to hold it the way the UK can ?

I believe if you hold the capital of the colony. It is in the scenario notes.
