Both cases I had clicked on a land unit then accidentally clicked to move it , like to an all sea hex.
no game logs or reports, it's hard to guess what caused it
if can you provide game logs for the event and or a report, the details may then make it easier to fix or know what caused it thanks
For example, what was the error message? Also, can you send me the contents of the ERROR folder found within the USER folder for the game. Typically this is found here:
C:\Users\<username>\Documents\My Games\Strategic Command WWI\ERROR
