I upgraded to d version and now my gd1938 games I am in wont save they all say error when I tried to save them.

The link to download d version says: Recommended to only try this Private Patch if you really have a need (modders).
so if we download it then we'll all be in the same boat of not being able to continue any other games we have going or play anyone that doesn't have this private beta patch. I think most people either only have the official patch or might have two copies of the game to tinker with the d patch on the side?
So the end result is we got a couple turns in on the new game before anyone added d patch while the older game is either almost over or ready to start a new phase with US entry. I'm afraid to download d as I'd then have to ask anyone else I'm playing to also do it

I was not expecting any issues here. So it might be something else as well.

But.. Please give press the 'details' button of the error dialogue and copy&paste the full error log to the forum.

Also for full help efficiency please send me the save file you received in your PBEM game to vic@vrdesigns.net so I can give it a check as well and see if I can reproduce your issue.
