Corsica after French Surrender

While almost all French territory dealt with (mainland occupied by Germany, colonies liberated and joined the Central Powers), Corsica remained French after after the surrender. The report even shows three city/town and two ports under french control (Corsica has one of each), so even some other territories might be remained french.
Since after the french surrender Russia also surrendered and got a victory screen, cannot check if the French would actualy exist or what, but seems strange.

(French got a full surrender with plunder and everything, while run out of morale, also occupied Paris, maybe somewhat circumventing the capital moving events, since they had no chance to move to Bordeaux)

Hi

My suspicion is that an Entente unit belonging to a nation other than France must have been on Corsica when France surrendered, as this would explain why the island has remained French (by which I presume you mean it is in Entente hands?).

If you still have a save file then you should be able to view the map, turning off fog of war to see if that is indeed the case.

Did the test, it had a french ship in port, but nothing on the island itself. But this time it went occupied, instead of being french owned and out of war (green supply square, like the surrendered Russian and Ottoman.) So dunno.

Ok, hopefully there was a unit there the other time, as we don't have any scripts to make Corsica stay Entente or anything like that (i.e. there's nothing like the Vichy event in our WWII games).
