Feature Request: More than 2 Players?
I just want to say I do love the game. I really like the strip down to the basics feel. I only wish it would be possible for more players to play countries in the game. Or if playing "human vs. computer" to play just one of the countries of either side Axis or Allies, so say play Italy but not Germany or play England but not the rest. Or if you were to have more than two people playing it would be possible to have one person play Germany and another play Italy. You get the idea. I think that would be fun.
Or how about making my suggestion more simple by doing the following:
1. What if there was an option for generating a game where the Axis & Allies side where both controlled by the computer.
2. There was "pause" created in the game at the beginning of every sides' turn.
3. During the "pause" players could "intervene" on the AI move and perform moves for just one country or as many countries they want, and whatever units are left the AI can move them.
4. I guess there would have to be a new command for units like "hold position" so that the AI wouldn't move a unit in a critical position deemed important by a player, and just pass over it.
I dunno, just an idea. I always find it interesting in other pc games of the same subject matter to play the Soviets (and see how much your "allies" help you out) or Italy (and see how much you can do without your "big brother").
Thanks Again for WarPlan it's Fun!
