Hi.

I am playing the game via Steam and today after I muted the music and sfx the game has defaulted to a truncated screen resolution and when I went into game settings I can select "full screen" but when I confirm my selection I get the warning "Could not set video mode." My only option 1280x720.

I have exited Steam, restarted my laptop, and the problem continues.

Sorry the image is so large, but it is not cut off, this is what I see and the top, sides and bottom are all cut off on my laptop screen.

Sorry to hear about the trouble and the quickest temporary workaround until the next update is to go to the following folder and then open up the SC3.ini file.

C:\Users\<username>\Documents\My Games\Strategic Command WWII - War in Europe

Then edit the following lines as follows and save the file and then restart the game:

#ORIGINAL_SCREEN_WIDTH= 0
#ORIGINAL_SCREEN_HEIGHT= 0
#WINDOW_WIDTH= 0
#WINDOW_HEIGHT= 0
#BIT_DEPTH= 0
#FULL_SCREEN= 0
