I just took advantage of the Matrix Games sale to buy, download and install War in the West. I then downloaded and installed Update v1.02.56. From the update I was able to go in and look at a scenario. I then backed completely out and tried to re-enter but I couldn't. I got a message box which said "Runtime" in the upper left and then the message "Failed to extract project file to memory". I then deleted the game with the intention of reinstalling it.

First, how do I reinstall a game? I have never had to do that before. I have my serial number. Second, what do I do if after reinstalling everything I get the same message as above? If it helps I think my RAM is 2 GB, and I have only filled up about 18% of my hard drive. Also, I am running Windows 10.

I think I may have fixed my own problems. I went to "my page", found GG: War in the West, selected downloads and then downloaded and installed the "Installer" file. The word installer kind of threw me as to what it was. Also the fact that it said it only requires 851 MB HD whereas the requirement on the sale page where I bought the game says 2 GB HD is needed. I then downloaded and reinstalled the update v1.02.56. I have been able to get and out of the game three times so far with no problems.

game needs 1.43 GB of install space, the rest is temp spaces needed on the installation
