Ok, wirhack for 3.3 is here:

I also made a small change to the optional Finnish Rule #10 in the "House Rules" here:

Ok, now back to that project of mine....

Oops, updated the readme to be a *little* more helpful.

The program hasn't changed, no need to download again.
For those who don't know what WirHack is and does, go here:

About WirHack: is it possible to add new option that blocks converting anti-tank bns to light TD bns in mid war?
Thanks!

Bloody wonderful but I would have to discuss it with my playing partner as to whether he wanted to try to change the multipliers before actually doing it.
Amazing what you have done!!!!

Doesn't turning equipment control to manual stop these conversions? Do you have a saved game turn from v3.3 just before it makes such a change for me to look at? I tried stopping PZ to Stug bn conversions, but every attempt I made caused side effects. This "converting battalions" code is tightly wound into the general upgrade/update code, so no promises whatsoever, I'm afraid.

Note that that you would HAVE to talk to your opponent about this since this is a change to the executable itself, which means it would only work if your copy AND his copy had the same changes. Well, it may depend on the specific hack, I never thought much about this..... Darn, if the replacements are calculated at the beginning of the player's turn, then wirhack could be used to cheat in a PBEM game. Somebody check this please. Use wirhack to change your replacement modifiers, then load a PBEM game, remember the replacements you get, and then do it again with a higher multiplier. I never thought about wirhack being used for cheating in a PBEM game.....there isn't anything I can do though except remove the ability to change replacement mods.
